Islington Training Network (ITN) is a membership organisation open to voluntary sector organisations and local institutions that provide pre-vocational and vocational training to residents and businesses in Islington and neighbouring boroughs.

Established in 1998, ITN is now a successful network delivering and managing a wide range of development projects funded by the European Social Fund (ESF), London Development Agency (LDA), Learning and Skills Council (LSC), Jobcentre Plus and local regeneration partnership totaling over £4m.

Whilst grass root organisations remain its primary focus, ITN has been able to engage – both at strategic and operational levels – all the major players in the field of adult education including London Metropolitan University, City & Islington College and the Education & Regeneration Unit of the local council (Islington).

ITN offers its members a range of services:

• Capacity building, advice and outreach work
• Training and quality assurance
• Project management and administration
• Facilitation of links and new partnerships between training providers
• Co-ordination of bid for projects designed to create training opportunities for all disadvantaged groups.

Membership to ITN is open to organisations and businesses in Islington and other boroughs, delivering training to their local communities.
