July 2005

Nearly £70m ESF has become available to fund further projects in the programme and CFOs are in the process of negotiating with GOL how the funding will be distributed.
The CFOs will have to match this sum with their own resources. Additionally, 5% of the available resources will be ring fenced to support ESF capacity building in the programme.

We expect that rounds will now be launched not earlier than late autumn and urge you to keep checking back for latest updates on the programme.

May 2005

Currently news of underspend rounds are filtering through though as yet only LSC London East has published details of their round.

As CFOs announce their rounds we will publish their prospectus and application documents as they become available.

London East LSC has announced that it is holding a small round this summer and documents will be available from June 2005.

Fast Forward Grants

1st round for grants for 2005-06 was launched on Friday 1st April.

Fast Forward Grants, the London ESF Global Grants Programme, provides grants up to £10,000 to small voluntary and community organisations, or other non-governmental organisations, to run projects which will help unemployed people move towards employment

The application round for 2005 - 06 grants was launched on Friday 1 st April with a deadline for receipt of applications at 5pm on Friday 27th May 2005.
