MEMBERSHIP
Full Members of LVSTC receive:
- Reduced fees for LVSTC events and publications
- The right to vote at the LVSTC AGM to elect and stand for the Executive Committee, and other committees set up by LVSTC
- Free entry into the LVSTC London Training Directory
- Free information bulletins
- Priority for places at LVSTC events
- Information about interested transnational partners contacting LVSTC
- One-to-one advice sessions offered by LVSTC
- Reduced fee for Study Visits
- Invitation to special meetings for consultation on policy developments
Membership Criteria:
Applicants for LVSTC Full Membership will need to give evidence of having the following:
- A written constitution confirming status as a voluntary organisation.
- A volunteer Board/ Management Committee the individual members of which have no direct financial interest
- A written Equal Opportunities Policy updated on a regular basis
- A written statement outlining the applicant’s commitment to combating social exclusion
- A current training programme for the unemployed or vulnerable employed in London
LVSTC is also extending membership beyond registered charities training the unemployed to voluntary organisations combating social exclusion through training the unemployed and the vulnerable employed under the LVSTC Associate scheme.
Associate status is for organisations or individuals who do not define themselves as community or voluntary sector but who would like to benefit from LVSTC services. Associates receive the same benefits as the Full Members, except for the right to vote in formal processes, one-to-one surgeries and discounts on study-visits
Application Procedure:
To apply for membership, please download the membership criteria and the appropriate membership form, complete the form and attach the Full (£30.00) or Associate (£250.00) fee and send the form to Clayton Elliott at LVSTC. The LVSTC Executive Committee has final discretion on the acceptance of members.
