ABOUT US

The London Voluntary Sector Consortium was set up by a number of voluntary sector training providers in 1989 as a registered Charity and Company Limited by Guarantee.

Founding members were training providers who identified the need for in-depth advice in accessing the European Funds to support their work in delivering quality training for unemployed people.

• As a membership organisation our Executive Board is elected at an Annual General Meeting and accountable to the members to:
• Lead the London voluntary and community sector in developing the strategy for learning & skills and in promoting this to the policy makers.
• Help voluntary and community sector organisations to provide high quality training/services by and for socially excluded groups in London with particular attention to funds available from the European Union.
