Spark in the Park

at Paradise Park, Islington
LVSTC organised the ‘Spark in the Park' event with the Paradise Park Children's Centre, Friends of Paradise Park, Islington Council and the European Anti-Poverty Network England (London Branch), with funding from the DWP. It took place during the UK EY2010 Week and was a day of performances, presentations from key activists, films, an exhibition of anti-poverty work, as well as input from the Mayor's office, local councillors, local MPs and MEPs, and face-painting and a bouncy castle for the kids.
